.Position Description – Waiter / All-Round Front of House
At LUDO’S Lisbon, we are a small but busy brunch restaurant where teamwork and flexibility are essential.
During quieter shifts, team members are expected to manage multiple responsibilities independently, including:
• Taking orders and providing table service
• Preparing coffee, cold drinks, cocktails, and other beverages
• Running food to tables
• Clearing and resetting tables quickly
• Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
• Restocking products and helping organize inventory
• Filling out order and stock lists when needed
During busy services and weekends, responsibilities become more specialized and divided between:
• Front of house / guest service
• Coffee and cocktail station
• Food running and support
• Dishwashing and back-up support
We are looking for people who thrive in fast-paced environments and understand the rhythm of a small restaurant where tables turn quickly and teamwork is everything.
The ideal candidate is proactive, energetic, and comfortable switching between different tasks throughout the shift. Personality, hospitality, speed, and positive energy are more important to us than formal fine dining experience.

Requirements for Waiter / Front of House Staff at LUDO’S Lisbon
• Vibrant, energetic, and positive personality
• Naturally welcoming and friendly with guests
• Strong sense of hospitality and team spirit
• Able to stay calm, professional, and charming under pressure
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced brunch environment
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Previous restaurant or café experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail during busy service
• Fast learner with proactive attitude
• Team player with strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working in a small, high-energy restaurant where tables turn quickly
• Ability to create a fun and memorable guest experience while maintaining efficiency
• Confidence carrying multiple plates, handling busy sections, and managing service flow
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak brunch shifts
