Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Assistant F&B Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant. Working closely with the F&B Manager you will assist in overseeing all aspects of the department, including restaurant service, banquet events and bar operations. Your leadership and expertise will help maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction.

The main focus of your job will be:

• Assist in the day-to-day management of restaurant, bar and banquet facilities
• Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus and offerings that exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food and beverage products.
• Monitor guest feedback and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Implement and enforce health and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll administration, and budget management for the department.
• Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the F&B industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Sound knowledge of F&B operations, including menu planning, costing, and inventory management
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Very good knowledge of English at a communicative level; other language skills are an advantage
