Director of Weddings

We are looking for Director of Weddings, who can speak native Japanese and the business level of English.
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Groups and Events, and within the limits of established corporate office and hotel policies and procedures, oversees and directs all aspects of the Wedding business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to oversee day-to-day sales and operational efforts of all personnel in the Department, with specific responsibility for directing sales, event coordination, training and implementing action plans set forth in the Marketing Plan.

 

1.Dimensions

  Annual Department Budget :

• In conjunction with the Director of Commerce & Marketing and Director of Groups and Events takes a primary role in the development of the annual wedding business revenue budget and its marketing plan.

Other Financial Parameters for the Position :

Responsible for the departmental revenue and expense budget.

 

2.Principal Accountabilities

• • Direct all sales activities of Wedding sales personnel to ensure that they meet the goals of the marketing plan.
  • Fully responsible for business development target of Weddings segment for the hotel.
  • Analyze market changes and under the direction of the Director of Groups and Events, implements actions to meet these changes.
  • To establish and implement business strategies.
  • To assist in the preparation of annual marketing plan.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Groups and Events, takes a primary role in the development of promotion of weddings in the interest in boasting incremental business for the hotel in the Banqueting area.
