Job Scope of Technician - Kitchen
- Keep all kitchen equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel
- To complete maintenance work orders (HOTSOS) on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures
- Continually work towards and support the improvement of engineering service to guests, other departments and fellow colleagues
- To act in the capacity of Engineering Department as a trouble shooter direct or indirect to the guest, thereby continually working toward a betterment of guest contact and satisfaction
- You follow the Hotel policies and procedures with regards to guest contact, guest satisfaction, proper grooming and appearance
- You have to know or acquire the practical and theoretical skills and knowledge related to your field of work and its implementation
- You have to know all materials, tools, parts and equipment related to your operation
- You know all the working procedures to solve problems in emergency and unscheduled maintenance
- You maintain the cleanliness of the entire property to the highest levels of excellence.
Job Requirement
- Willing to work in a multi-skilled environment with minimum supervision.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of pumps, HVAC system, electrical installations, water treatment plant is an advantage.
- Commitment to the standards in Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental protection.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to work shift hours
