Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Food & Beverage Retail Operations to lead and elevate their growing artisan bakery and retail food business. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with deep technical knowledge of bread and pastry baking—especially European-style techniques—to shape the product vision, set high quality standards, and drive operational excellence across our locations.
The ideal candidate will not only be operationally strong, but also bring a deep appreciation and mastery of European baking principles, with a particular focus on German traditions. A background in or exposure to formal baking education (e.g., apprenticeship programs, trade schools in Europe) is highly desirable.

- Extensive knowledge of bread baking, laminated doughs, pastries, and European-style techniques is required.
- Formal baking education (preferred from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or France) or a strong apprenticeship background.
- Previous leadership experience in bakery retail or food service environments (multi-unit management a plus).
- Fluent or conversational German is a plus.
- Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Passion for quality, consistency, and artisan techniques.
