About You

  • Experience in a dynamic restaurant setting is highly valued.
  • A passion for culinary artistry and a desire to innovate in the kitchen.
  • Background in high-end restaurant or banquet kitchen is advantageous.
  • A proactive and upbeat demeanor that inspires excellence.
  • Keen to take on new challenges and grow within your career.
  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery III and IV or equivalent are preferred.
  • Embody a polished professionalism with an audacious approach to creativity; a passionate, and a playful spirit that enriches our environment while creating memorable guest experiences.


 

About the Role

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items. 
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. 
  • Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator. 
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.     
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared. 
  • Communicate assistance needed during busy periods. 
  • Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials. 
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.
  • Ensure the quality of the food items. 
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods.
