As Bellboy/Bellgirl, you will be primarily responsible to greet and welcome all guests to the hotel and help them with their luggage on arrival. Make sure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times, and that all guest requests are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Greet and assist guests entering and leaving the hotel.
- Create a straightforward, pleasant process by acting as an approachable contact person for guests.
- Assist and provide luggage services for hotel guests (storage of luggage, delivery to rooms).
- Keep an eye on unidentified luggage or objects in hotel premises, and gather lost items in case of claim by guests.
- Be aware and communicate hotel services available and general safety information.
- Be knowledgeable and communicate places of interest of the city, such restaurants, museums and monuments, providing directions, recommendations and reservation options.
- Watch out for unsuitable/unwanted visitors at the hotel premises.
- Act as support for both front office teams and guest relations.
- Answer to complaints and suggestions from guests, if unable to solve oneself, forward to front office team.
- Previous experience in hospitality would be preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Fluency in local language is a must and knowledge of English highly valuable.
- Customer service focus.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledgeable about the local area.
