Job Description

To serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by developing and implementing the Wellness strategy and supporting the Wellness Director in all wellness related responsibilities and issues.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Perform traditional Thai medicine treatments including but not limited to Thai therapeutic treatments, herbal therapies and dispensary, and other traditional healing techniques.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists within Layan Life to provide comprehensive care and integrated treatment approaches for guests, taking into account contraindications for treatments.
Conduct thorough initial and follow up consultations with guests to assess their medical history, current health status, and treatment goals.

Maintain accurate and detailed guest records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant observations.
Stay updated on advancements in Thai traditional medicine practices and incorporate new techniques or methodologies into guest care as appropriate.
Facilitate Wellness talks and workshops for guests to enhance awareness and education on topics e.g. the benefit of: herbal remedies, Thai traditional treatments and more.
Promote other wellness services to guests, considering their health condition.
Participate in meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

License in Thai Traditional Medicine
Previous experience in similar role, ideally worked in a health & wellness resort but not a must
Willingness to learn and explore new areas which might be unfamiliar
Openness to work in a new, luxurious environment as a part of a dedicated medical and well-being
Good command of spoken English
Good personality, able to give advice to customers, self-confidence
