• Supports the DOSM in the smooth operation of the Sales & Marketing Department and builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders and colleagues.
• Conduct sales visits with the local DMC's and other markets upon request and attends trade fairs when required.
• Co-ordinate, manage and host FAM/Press trip visits to the resort.
• Conduct product training/webinars for both B2B and B2C agents.
• Maintain accurate records in terms of contracting, Marketing contribution, FAM/Press trip calendar and ensure weekly/monthly reports are submitted according to deadlines.
• Support the DOSM in developing new markets whilst maintaining strong relationships with current partners.
• Conduct a competitor check and market/buying trends analysis on a regular basis.
• Manage rate distribution across extranets, direct and OTA channels including rate and offer loading and OTA account management.
• Assists the Reservation Manager with inventory management and bookings where necessary.

• Organized, efficient and willing to make decisions, when necessary, with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken
English. An additional language would be an advantage.
• Confident to work alone on property under the guidance of the DOSM and communicate online and in person with various clients worldwide.
• Must have reservations/revenue experience and be able to manage rate distribution across all online channels.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience within the Sales/Marketing field and a degree or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Sales/Marketing or Business administration/development.
Experience in the Maldives or a remote island/location is essential.
