Your Purpose

As a Finance CPM Specialist you will play a key role within the Finance Transformation team supporting the Group's financial consolidation and planning processes. This role involves overseeing CPM system enhancements ensuring alignment with business requirements and facilitating effective system and financial process execution.

Your Impact

- Administer the CPM system conducting training sessions for users at both central and local levels to improve efficiency.
- Support the Planning and IFRS teams in executing financial consolidation and planning processes.
- Participate in defining and implementing CPM system enhancements translating business requirements into system functionalities.
- Maintain and evolve the CPM system making modifications and enhancements to meet changing business needs.
- Review the CPM reporting structure recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and automation.
- Execute modifications in reporting and ensure consistency across the reporting structure.
- Contribute to finance projects intersecting with the CPM system ensuring effective alignment and integration with ongoing S/4 HANA implementation.
- Define and document target financial data for effective CPM system functionality.

Your Journey so far

- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- You have 5 years of experience implementing CPM solutions within a service or consulting environment.
- You have thrived in financial reporting planning and controlling systems managing processes related to budgeting forecasting and CFO functions.
- You have hands-on experience across all phases of the project lifecycle focusing on application design and process reengineering.
- You have a proven track record of supporting and enhancing CPM solutions in a dynamic business setting.

Your Essentials

- Proficiency in CPM applications such as Tagetik SAP BPC/BFC Hyperion or similar systems.
- Proven expertise in finance and accounting systems delivering insights that support financial planning and consolidation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills especially in supporting users and liaising with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is mandatory any other language is a plus.
- Strong client-oriented mindset with demonstrated commitment to meeting business needs.
- Ability to work effectively with finance and technical teams ensuring efficient and compliant CPM system operations.

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!

With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.

In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.

In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.

Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.

This massive project is already well under way. The Human Resources Team is not only working to recruit the best talents but is also visiting our manning agencies and hiring partners around the world to ensure that the right people and facilities are in place to prepare this ‘army’ of new crew members for their life at sea.
