Restaurant Supervisor

The role
We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to run the floor day to day across our bar, restaurant and function service. You will be the person guests and staff look to during service: setting the pace, keeping standards up, and making sure the room runs smoothly from first booking to last table.
What you will be doing
- Leading the floor team during service, including servers and table support staff
- Managing the reservations diary, table plans and covers flow
- Briefing the team before service and keeping communication tight between floor and kitchen
- Handling guest queries, special requests and complaints in the moment
- Overseeing set up and service for weddings, functions and private events
- Cash handling, end of shift reconciliation and till reports
- Ordering and stock control for bar and floor items
- Training and inducting new floor staff, and supporting them to develop
- Upholding hygiene, licensing and health and safety standards
What we are looking for
- At least two years in a supervisory or senior floor role in a busy restaurant, bar or hotel
- Confident leading a team during a full service
- Calm under pressure and able to make quick decisions on the floor
- Strong guest focus and a genuine interest in hospitality
- Comfortable with EPOS and reservation systems, or quick to pick them up
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland
Nice to have
- Experience with weddings and large functions
- Wine, cocktail or barista knowledge
- Manual Handling or HACCP training
