We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Gardener to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the lodge gardens while maximising and showcasing the breath-taking views we have available. Part of the role involves maintaining our vegetable garden, which provides our talented chefs with fresh, seasonal produce for their exquisite menus. 

With no two days being the same, you will be working amongst a fun and supportive team that is passionate about what they do.

What you will do:

This is the perfect position for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get involved! This role involves a variety of tasks around the property, including –

• Assisting the Head Gardener with all garden and landscape upkeep and development
• Pesticide application as necessary
• Maintaining the vegetable garden with organic principles
• Maintaining the irrigation system and water requirements to all garden and lawn areas
• Keeping the pool area tidy
• Creating wow factors for our guests to enjoy outside. 

What you will bring:

As well as your passion for gardening, you will have -

• Previous experience in large scale garden maintenance or a horticulture background
• The ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise
• A high level of attention to detail
• Team working skills
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to talk to guests about the gardens
• A positive outlook
• Full drivers’ licence 
• Good level of physical fitness
