Job Description
Process all soiled resort bed linens, terry and food and beverage table linens by operating all laundry/dry cleaning machinery in accordance to hotel's standards. Clean, press and finish guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. The hours of operations of the Laundry are 6:00am - 12:00am. Applicants must be able to work shifts that will start early mornings, end late nights and will include weekends and public holidays. Applicants must be physically fit able to push and pull carts full of linen and work on his/her feet for the duration of an 8 hour shift. Must be able to tolerate working in a warm environment for extended periods of time.
This position will start March 1st, 2023.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, squat, crouch, kneel and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- May be exposed to mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards.
- May be exposed to higher than normal noise levels.
- Ability to work in extreme heat.
- Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform.
- Operate the various pieces of equipment to achieve the proper finishing of laundered articles.
- Maintain accurate counts of all linen processed.
- Separate and prepare clean linen for finishing.
- Inspect and remove damaged or imperfectly processed items from service.
- Practice established safety procedures in all facets of job activity.
- In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your Manager.
