We are now looking for Officer, Corporate Communications to join our Group Headquarter office, who will be responsible for responsible for delivering the communications initiatives through project coordination, media relations, and budget management that would support the business priorities of Shangri-La Group.

As our Officer, Corporate Communications, we will rely on you to:

• Assist in handling media enquiries and managing the dissemination of information to media
• Support in communications campaigns, including media relations and pitching to arouse awareness and gain exposure of Shangri-La Group
• Develop and maintain relationship with key media and digital influencers in Hong Kong
• Perform daily monitoring of print and online news and prepare media coverage summaries when required
• Engage internal and external stakeholders on the campaigns / project assigned
• Liaise with external vendors / agencies / production houses on various initiatives to ensure execution and deliverables as expected
• Develop / translate corporate content, including press releases, media interviews, corporate website, video content and social media posts
• Provide administrative and logistic support to the team

We are looking for someone who has/ is:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications / Public Relations, Journalism, English / Chinese Language or related discipline
• 3 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, media or brand management in a sizable organization or consultancy
• Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• A proven track record in implementing successful communication activities
• Excellent project management skills and attention to details
• Proficiency in MS office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop
