Service Manager - Hygiene

Pre-opening project in Shangri-La Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai and Traders Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai.

We are currently looking for a Service Manager - Hygieneto join us.

As a Service Manager - Hygiene, we rely on you to

• Complete responsibility for the highest level of sanitation and hygiene standards in the hotel.
• To ensure all food served to guests and emloyees are free of microbiological, chemical, and physical contamination, and all work areas conform to minimum requirements set by local health authorities.
• More interaction with the stewarding manager in terms of follow up on cleanliness issues.
• To vocally challenge non-complying colleagues in relation to the ownership and driving of the HACCP & SFSMS.
• Enforce accountability of the related areas which are non-performing with non-compluing areas to present corrective action plans in monthly SFSMS meeting.
• Ensure all the relevant documentations to be filed completely according to the requirements of local health authorities and food safety system.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years working experience as a Hygiene Manager in a 5* hotel
• Experience in handling food and hygiene standards of various types of kitchens / restaurants
• Experience in conducting training / audit checks
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English
• Displays initiative
• Commitment to professional values
• Self-driven, goal-oriented and able to challenge the status quo
