The Dunraven is a stylish, luxury, family-run hotel situated in the heart of Adare, a picturesque and world-renowned village in Co. Limerick. In recent times the Murphy family have developed the hotel to incorporate 87 luxury bedrooms, an elegant ballroom that can cater for up to 300 people, a leisure centre with a swimming pool, sauna, fully fitted gym and beauty rooms, a standalone conference centre and the award winning Maigue Restaurant. Operations focused placement with possibility to rotate and receive different roles and responsibilities during the year based on skills knowledge and professional development. Opportunities are available in the Kitchen, Front Office and Sales and Marketing Departments.
Food & Beverage and Front of House
Our programme is designed to give you the relevant experience required to be able to progress to a Supervisory Position. This should be attainable for the trainee after a 6-month period at which time a meeting with the GM is arranged to discuss progression through the programme. Progress to a supervisory role is available within our Maigue Restaurant and Hunters Bar. Trainees will have responsibility for the daily operations and weekly planning of these areas.
Rotation is also available to the Front of House department. This should be attainable for the trainee after a 6-month period at which time a meeting with the GM is arranged to discuss progression through the programme. Trainees will learn all the skills involved to be a front desk agent and a reservations agent.
Rotation is also available to the Kitchen department. This should be attainable for the trainee after a 6-month period at which time a meeting with the GM is arranged to discuss progression through the programme.. Trainees will learn all the culinary skills required to progress from a Commis Chef to Chef de Partie.
Trainees will be able to provide support functions in Sales and Marketing, HR or Finance in the final period of their programme.
Rotation and progression is determined by an individuals development and the hotels operational needs.
