This is a rare opportunity to complete a 12-month culinary internship at a landmark oceanfront luxury resort in Miami Beach — a globally recognised hospitality destination known for its large-scale operations, multiple restaurant concepts, luxury guest experience, and major culinary events.
With over 1,500 guest rooms, high-volume banquet operations, and multiple dining outlets, this program offers hands-on exposure to both premium hospitality standards and fast-paced culinary production in one of the most exciting hospitality markets in the United States.
You will rotate through key kitchen departments including:
- Restaurant Kitchen (à la carte service)
- Garde Manger
- Banquets & Events
- Pastry Production
This structured culinary training program is designed to develop:
- Kitchen organisation and mise en place
- Speed and consistency during service
- Professional communication and teamwork
- Exposure to luxury U.S. hospitality standards

You will work alongside experienced chefs and international culinary teams while gaining practical exposure to both fine dining and large-scale resort operations.

This program is best suited to individuals who are eager to develop their culinary skills within a structured, professional U.S. kitchen environment and who are genuinely interested in international hospitality training and cultural exchange.
To qualify for this U.S. J-1 Culinary Internship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 18
- Currently enrolled full-time in a post-secondary Culinary Arts diploma or degree program recognised by your local government
- OR
- Have graduated from a full-time post-secondary Culinary Arts diploma or degree program within the last 12 months
In addition, candidates must:
- Have at least 3–6 months of practical kitchen experience
- Demonstrate good English communication skills
- Show professionalism, maturity, and willingness to learn
- Have clear long-term career goals within the culinary industry
- Be genuinely interested in developing their skills through structured international training in the United States
- Be financially prepared for the costs associated with an international J-1 cultural exchange program, including program fees, visa fees, and initial arrival expenses
