Job Description
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks before and after the operation
- Clean work area, tools and equipment as scheduled.
- Assist seniors in performance of work by positioning equipment and vessels.
- Position equipment and tools as directed.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Conduct all Excursions and other trips that happen offsite, in a professional and friendly manner with utmost care and consideration for safety and customer satisfaction, according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Ensure Vessels and equipment are safely and securely stored.
- Participate in routine maintenance as directed.
- Responsible for ensuring the equipment are displayed in an appropriate manner and in working condition.
- Follow the procedures for recording accidents/incidents.
- Follow the water sport’s Health and Safety policy and Emergency Procedures.
- Greet & Welcome guests in a friendliest and politest manner as per hotel policy.
- Answer the telephone calls prior to three rings with appropriate greeting by mentioning the employee’s name, department and offering assistance.
- Attend all meetings conducted by water sports in-charge.
- Observe the safety and security of the guests at all costs while engaged in activities.
- Report about any faulty equipment or technical problems to the instructor.
- Participate in all training held by the Resort and Centre.
- Contribute to all the promotional activities carried out by the Centre.
- To be prepared to move between different resorts according to the operational needs of the business and to fulfil your contractual end date
- To be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties as requested by your manager
Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- Have a good level of physical fitness and stamina
- Possess an outgoing personality.
- Team Player
- Flexible and ready to work in a fast paced environtment
- Water Sports Assistant Course (Desirable)
- Experience of working in a Water Sports environment (Desirable)
