What we're looking for- Previous professional experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Chef de Partie
- Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, desserts and presentation
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality, consistency and food safety
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team
- Good communication skills in English
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Pastry Chef in the daily operations of the pastry kitchen
- Prepare and present a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries and baked goods
- Contribute creative ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings
- Maintain consistency, quality and presentation standards
- Ensure cleanliness, organisation and compliance with food safety standards
- Support and guide junior pastry team members when required
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Assist with stock control, inventory and ordering
- Contribute to menu planning and food cost control where appropriate
You are passionate about pastry, take pride in your work and are motivated to develop your career in a professional kitchen environment.
Experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels, fine dining or high-volume hospitality operations would be an advantage.
