What we're looking for

• Previous professional experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Chef de Partie
• Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, desserts and presentation
• Ability to maintain high standards of quality, consistency and food safety
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team
• Good communication skills in English
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Pastry Chef in the daily operations of the pastry kitchen
• Prepare and present a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries and baked goods
• Contribute creative ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings
• Maintain consistency, quality and presentation standards
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation and compliance with food safety standards
• Support and guide junior pastry team members when required
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Assist with stock control, inventory and ordering
• Contribute to menu planning and food cost control where appropriate

Experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels, fine dining or high-volume hospitality operations would be an advantage.
