We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef/Pastry Chef to join our hotel kitchen team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast items and fresh pastries while maintaining excellent food hygiene and presentation standards.


Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Prepare and present daily breakfast items
  • Bake and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and pastry section
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
  • Assist with menu planning and development of new breakfast and pastry items
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations during breakfast service
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth daily operations
  • Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients


Sobre ti

  • Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar role in a hotel or restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of baking and pastry preparation techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
  • Culinary certification or relevant training will be considered an asset
  • Idioma requerido: Inglés. Maltés es un plus
