Job description

· Processes all written reports involving security related incidents and guest or employee accidents.

· Ensures that all hotel entrances and exits are locked and unlocked as per hotel policy.

· Close down the different outlets at closing time.

· Ensures that all potential and real hazards are communicated and taken care of immediately.

· Ensure and guard the safety of guests and employees by walking surveillance rounds and patrol of all the hotel's areas.

· Detect safety-threatening situations and irregularities like unwanted visitors, mutilation or aggressive behavior.

· Obtain all loss reports, investigate, follow-up and determine course of action.

· Ensure that 'Fire Exit' doors are kept free of blockage at all times and ensure that fire and safety equipments are in their right places.

· Perform all tasks consistently in line with the hotel standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.

· Respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional and hospitable manner.

· Maintains a log-book for visitors.

· Make sure that all employees are properly checked upon departure.

· Be aware of Hotel fire, bomb and emergency procedures.

· Be aware of health and safety, policies and procedures.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years in the same position in a 4/5 star hotel or in a security company.

· Ability to maintain composition and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.

· Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills to identify potential security risks or threats.

· Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift or move heavy objects when necessary.

· Good command of English Language. (Written & Spoken)

· Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment.

· Age – 25 to 35 years

· Possess strong multitasking skills
