Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Sous Chef to join our prestigious culinary team at Shangri-La Singapore. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary experiences that define our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the culinary team, fostering creativity and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to curate innovative menus that showcase diverse and enticing culinary offerings.
- Ensure that culinary standards and food quality are consistently maintained, exceeding guest expectations.
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including planning, preparation, and execution of all culinary aspects.
- Uphold and elevate our commitment to delivering the finest dining experiences, consistently seeking ways to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff, fostering a highly skilled and motivated team.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in culinary leadership within a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, culinary techniques, and menu development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in cost control and budget management.
- A steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- A culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred).
