Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Sous Chef to join our prestigious culinary team at Shangri-La Singapore. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary experiences that define our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the culinary team, fostering creativity and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to curate innovative menus that showcase diverse and enticing culinary offerings.
  • Ensure that culinary standards and food quality are consistently maintained, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including planning, preparation, and execution of all culinary aspects.
  • Uphold and elevate our commitment to delivering the finest dining experiences, consistently seeking ways to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff, fostering a highly skilled and motivated team.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in culinary leadership within a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, culinary techniques, and menu development.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in cost control and budget management.
  • A steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred).
