Job Description

To report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, nametag and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene according to spa and resorts grooming standards at all times.
To be responsible for day to day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment areas.
To check that all therapists always follow the spa standard guidelines. This should be a hands-on process and must be recorded.
To be aware of all treatments offered and any promotions on offer at any given time.
To be responsible for keeping up the high standard of treatment and service.
To be fully aware of the daily bookings schedule and to keep updated with any changes at the reception on a continual basis throughout the day.
To ensure that all therapist’s work is based on guests consultation form and to have it communicated with other therapists if necessary.
To ensure therapists are well trained, perform services according the spa standards and procedures and provide the finest personalized caring service to guests.
To ensure that the Villa Park standards are being upheld as outlined.
To prepare and implement an ongoing training plan for all therapists covering all the spa services
To record all training conducted and prepare an attendance sheet for each training session.
To help with stock control, stock takes and orders as requested by the Head Therapist.
Ensure all guest comments and feedback are followed up promptly and reported. Serious ones need to be immediately notified to the Spa Director.
To be positive, adaptable, multi-functional and self motivated.
To act as therapist when needed.
To constantly evaluate where additional small touches can be added to create memories and 5 star experiences for the guests.
To cover reception as and when required.
To contributes to the morale and team spirit of the spa and resort by maintaining relationships with colleagues, by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and security, training and development.
To provide the finest personalized service and best guest experience possible at all times.
To attend daily briefing and all formal meetings.
Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of service as Spa Therapist
Coverage of at least 600 hours of Massage Therapy studies.
Must be proficient in various body work techniques, pressure points and modalities.
Strong communication skills is mandatory.
