At AX Hotels, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional hospitality experiences. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized and memorable stays for our guests. We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
* Ensures the accuracy of input information in the reservations system.
* Immediately inform the Reservations Manager of any concerns relating to tight booking situations.
* Liaise and collaborate with all departments concerned to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
* Handle 'no shows' in accordance with the company standards and procedures.
* Ensure a systematic and orderly filing system of reservations correspondence and other data.
* Ensure effective networking and communication with outside bodies to inform them of room availability.
* Ensure the accuracy of reservations and that they are taken in accordance with the hotel and company procedures.
* Ensure that the necessary systems are in place to effectively deal with guests' requests.
* Handle telephone reservations queries / complaints in accordance with the company procedures.
* Check the following day's arrivals and correspondence to ensure accuracy of information.
* Ensure the upselling of rooms.
* Ensure that the telephone standard procedures are adhered to.
* Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development.
* Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and the company standards.
* Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Reservations Manager from time to time.
Requirements:
* Fluency in English; another European language will be considered as an advantage.
* Smart in appearance and highly organized
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to work on their own initiative and take decisions when not supervised.
* Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
* Willing to travel to different locations to work
