citizenM is looking for an energetic, genuine and passionate citizen willing to join our Operations team in the Netherlands for an exciting internship opportunity. 

The selected candidate will support citizenM’s running operations by helping out in our Support Office on a range of topics. In short, the Operations Support Team is responsible for the strategic direction of F&B, Housekeeping and Logistics and Warehousing in our hotels globally.

It is possible to have a combination of topics as well.

main tasks & responsibilities

• support the roll-out and ongoing improvements of our housekeeping tooling in our hotels, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced operational efficiency
• collaborate with our housekeeping partner HFC to conduct comprehensive quality assessments within our hotels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance quality
• generate monthly and quarterly reports to monitor and evaluate housekeeping performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• contribute to innovative projects, such as the implementation of robotic cleaning solutions in our hotels, by providing essential operational support 
• learn everything there is to know about running daily global housekeeping operations while staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to optimize daily operations effectively
• analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to measure the success of ongoing and completed projects related to housekeeping operations, ensuring that objectives are met and results are in line with organizational goals
• proactively resolve unexpected operational challenges for hotel teams and HFC to ensure efficient problem resolution

skills & qualifications

• available for six or more months, preferred starting date August/September 2024
• a student enrolled at a university during the entire duration of the internship
• smart thinker with contemporary style

• fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are well accepted
