Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

A Kids Club Host provides care and supervision for children of guests. Maintains a safe environment of the child minding facility within the framework of the established policies and procedures of Constance Halaveli Resort.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

 

1. General

• At all times offer graceful, personalized and caring service towards all guests as you are an ambassador of the Constance Halaveli service philosophy.  
• To embody in all your interactions with guests, passion and enthusiasm for service, focusing all attention on the guests. 
• At all times exhibit good posture and an elegant demeanor, and speak in a polite and attentive manner.
• Always address the guests with their name, keeping eye contact and smiling
• At all times take ownership of guests’ request and do not refer guests elsewhere.
• At all times adhere to the grooming and etiquette standards of the resort.
• Always display punctuality and good attendance as an act of responsibility towards the guest service and towards your colleagues.  
• Always be courteous, considerate, supportive and respectful towards other team members of FO and rest of the resort. Treat others as you would like to be treated. 
• Ensure to keep yourself updated with the role of FO in Fire, Tsunami and First Aid standards.
• Attend all the trainings that you are assigned to within your department or on a resort level.

 

1. Work Duties

• Maintains an open line of communication with the Kids Club Supervisor concerning daily operations.
• Follow and observe standards and procedures that will enhance the Kids Club experience for our guests and their children.
• Assure that quality of entertainment materials is safe and adequate for children’s use.
• Organizes, supervises and takes part in activities for the children
• Ensures that all children remain in the Centre until they are picked up by their parent/guardian
• Takes care of the needs of the children such as changing diapers, supervising snack time, participating in games and activities, bathroom assistance or supervision, bottle feeding & holding or rocking infants
• Ensures the children have a clean, safe, tidy (free from clutter) environment to play in
• Reports all incidents, injuries, accidents, member concerns to Kids Club Manager via incident report
• Performs all Kids Club housekeeping duties
• Ensures all toys, supplies, equipment in Centre is in good working order, and is safe and clean

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create a safe and engaging environment for children 
• With hospitality experience, especially in a 5-star resort setting
