We are currently looking for a Cook  for one of our 4* hotels in Budapest.

 

What will you be responsible for?

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with the hotel’s standards and recipes.
• Supporting breakfast, à la carte, and all-day dining operations while ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Ensuring the proper preparation, storage, and handling of ingredients in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.
• Monitoring stock levels, minimizing food waste, and supporting inventory control procedures.
• Coordinating with the kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure smooth service operations.
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP procedures, food hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in maintaining operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

 

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Chef de Partie, or similar role, ideally within hotels, restaurants, or hospitality environments.
• Culinary training or vocational education in Gastronomy, Kitchen Operations, or Hospitality is highly valued.
• Experience in breakfast service and/or à la carte dining will be considered a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
• Team player with a proactive attitude, flexibility, and strong attention to detail.
• Basic English communication skills are essential; Hungarian and/or additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
