About Hosco
Hosco is the world’s leading hospitality careers platform, connecting more than 2.1 million hospitality professionals with top employers and the world’s leading hospitality schools. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Barcelona, we sit at the intersection of talent, education, and industry — helping schools launch their students into careers, and helping employers reach the people they need.
We are a small, senior team with a flat structure and a high bar for ownership. Following our recent acquisition and the integration of an AI-powered recruitment platform, we are rebuilding our schools network into the engine that supplies the industry with the best hospitality talent in the world. You will work closely with Hosco’s leadership team.
Why this role matters
Schools are strategic. They are how the world’s best hospitality talent enters our ecosystem — and how the entire industry taps into it. Our ambition is simple: to be the destination where the industry finds talent, and where schools connect their students and alumni to the opportunities that will define their careers.
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a builder — someone who will reconnect and grow our schools network, shape the product that serves schools and students, and help make Hosco indispensable to hospitality education worldwide. You will operate across a multi-language partner base and be expected to work effectively in English, French, and Spanish.
The role involves travelling to campuses, career fairs, and industry events when it counts — roughly 20% of your time.
What you’ll own
Reconnect and grow the network
• Re-engage lapsed and dormant school partners with a tailored commercial and product narrative
• Prospect and close new school partnerships, prioritising the institutions that matter most to the industry
• Onboard new partners end to end — train their teams and get their students registered from day one
Build the product
• Be the voice of schools and students inside the company: translate what you see in the field into clear, actionable input for the education product roadmap
• Understand deeply what schools and students need from a platform — and push ours to be better
• Partner with product and engineering to ship the features that make schools stay and students engage
Own the relationships and the numbers
• Manage a live portfolio of school partners across Europe and internationally, from early-stage accounts to mature, long-term relationships
• Drive student and alumni activation to grow engagement and registrations within every partner community
• Own commercial renewals end to end, with full accountability for retention rate and revenue outcome
How your performance will be measured
• Student and alumni registrations generated from your partner portfolio
• Renewal rate and revenue retained across your accounts
• New school partnerships signed
• Reactivation of previously lapsed school accounts
What we’re looking for
• A self-starter and builder who thrives in a fast-moving, startup-style environment and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
• 5–10 years in account management, partnerships, or a client-facing commercial role — ideally in edtech, HR tech, careers, or a platform / SaaS business
• A track record of running a diverse portfolio independently, with accountability for both retention and new business
• Comfortable operating at every level — student-facing presentations, career-manager relationships, and institutional decision-makers
• Strong commercial instinct, with hands-on experience in renewals and negotiation
• Product-minded and tech-savvy: you have a view on what “good” looks like, you read platform usage data to judge account health, and you act on it
• Energetic, hands-on, and ready to travel to schools and events when required (~20% of your time)
• Fluent in English and French; Spanish required; Italian or Portuguese a strong plus
• Based in Barcelona — this is an on-site role
