Hotel Staff in la Plagne Paradiski

Based in the heart of one of the worlds leading ski areas, La Plagne Paradiski (France), this position includes varied roles within our hotel including but not limited to: restaurant service, bar service and guest relations. The Rhododendrons is located right next to the slopes and main chair lift in Plagne 1800 and the position allows our staff plenty of ski time during the winter season.

Our restaurant and housekeeping staff work in a team to serve breakfast, lunch and a 3 course evening meal to our guests, provide the service in our popular bar ‘The Bobsleigh Pub’, and work some housekeeping shifts on the changeover days (cleaning of guest rooms).

Varied shift pattern with 35 hours per week

Requirements

Our staff must work to a high level of service at all times particularly in presentation, hygiene, guest communication and speed of service. Whilst being professional and efficient our staff must show excellent personal skills to build a good rapport with our guests. Our staff must:

• Have an advanced level of English (French and/or Dutch language skills are an advantage)
• Have a good team spirit
• Be responsible, reliable and hardworking
• Be able to work alone or in a team
• Have the ability to work calmly under pressure
• Have a high standard of customer service, cleanliness and presentation
• Have previous experience in hotel, restaurant or housekeeping work
• Be committed to completing the whole season to the end of April
