Duties and responsibilities related to the ​Events Sales Manager​ role 

  • Creating memorable and sophisticated events for a wide range of clientele 
  • Perform daily sales activities including face to face meetings, contracting & rate negotiations, attendance at trade shows both locally and internationally, participate on FAM trips and conduct regular site inspections 
  • Effectively liaise with operational departments to guarantee a smooth and tailored experience for clients and guests 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to generate new events business. You will be a people person who is great at growing and maintaining long lasting relationships 
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in hotel event sales 
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to management on events sales performance, market trends, and opportunities 
  • Monitor event performance and client feedback and share with the hotel teams 


About you 

  • Previous experience in luxury events hotel sales is essential, as are excellent sales and negotiation skills. You are detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
