International hospitality professionals and recent graduates are invited to apply for 12-month J-1 training opportunities in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Training opportunities are available across Front Office, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Hotel Operations at a selection of 4-star properties representing internationally recognized hotel brands.

Opportunity Details

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Program Duration: 12 months
Departments: Front Office, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Hotel Operations
Compensation: $15–$18 USD per hour
Accommodation: 2 weeks of temporary accommodation provided upon arrival
Training: Hands-on experience within a professional U.S. hospitality environment

What You Can Expect

Participants will gain practical experience while developing their hospitality skills within established four-star hotel environments. Depending on the department and training plan, opportunities may include:

Front Office

Guest services and hotel operations
Reservations and front desk procedures
Guest relations and service standards
Hotel systems and daily operations

Food & Beverage

Restaurant and bar operations
Guest service and hospitality standards
Banquets and events
Food & beverage operations and service

Culinary

Professional kitchen operations
Food preparation and production
Culinary techniques and presentation
Exposure to different areas of kitchen operations

Hotel Operations

Rotational training across key hotel departments
Front Office operations
Food & Beverage operations
Housekeeping supervision and hotel standards
Cross-departmental exposure to overall hotel operations

$15–$18 USD per hour
2 weeks of temporary accommodation provided upon arrival
