Assistant Manager

We're looking for a seasonal Assistant Manager for our high season (November–April) to help run day-to-day operations — guest relations, reservations, staff coordination, help in bar and restaurant, and general property management — working closely with the owner. It's hands-on, varied work at a genuinely small property, ideal for someone who wants real responsibility rather than a corporate hierarchy, and who'd enjoy a few months living on a quiet stretch of Mexican coast.

Fluent Spanish and English required. Position is paid, with full board included.

What we're looking for:

• Good knowledge in Spanish and English (additional languages a plus)
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, or hotel operations preferred
• Comfortable wearing many hats — on a 7-room property, the assistant manager might handle a guest check-in, a reservation issue, and a staff question all in the same hour
• Flexible with hours — hospitality doesn't run 9-to-5, and beachfront life moves at its own pace, but the work is real and expectations are clear
• Calm, solutions-oriented under pressure; comfortable making decisions independently when the owner isn't on-site
• Genuine interest in guest experience — someone who enjoys people, not just process
• Comfortable living on-site in a small, remote coastal community for the full Nov–April season (this isn't a city posting — reliable internet via Starlink, but rural surroundings)
• Basic computer literacy (reservations systems, WhatsApp Business, email)

Good fit if you: enjoy autonomy, don't need constant structure, are drawn to a slower pace of life for a season, and want hands-on responsibility rather than a narrow role.
