Are you a creative and passionate chef who loves surprising guests with quality and flavor?

Restaurant Shanghai - known for its hospitality and culinary experience - is looking for two Independent Chefs (level I) to strengthen our kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Independently prepare meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Carry out food preparation and processing tasks with a strong focus on hygiene and food safety.
  • Apply various cutting techniques and cooking methods to prepare dishes professionally.
  • Ensure efficient meal preparation, including plating and presentation.
  • Comply with all applicable food safety and hygiene regulations during daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Contribute ideas regarding menu development, menu changes, and preparation methods.
  • Manage inventory and ordering processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to kitchen assistants.

  • 2506 - 3033 per month based on experience

À propos de vous

  • MBO Level 3 Chef Diploma or MBO Level 3 working and thinking level (or EU equivalent)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
  • Service-oriented and flexible, including availability on weekends and public holidays.
  • Passion for cooking, creativity, and attention to detail.


Candidates who do not yet meet all qualifications but have the ambition to obtain them through internal training are warmly encouraged to apply.

  • Langue requise: Anglais. Néerlandais est un plus
