Restaurant Manager

River Lounge Restaurant is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, deliver excellent guest experiences, and build a motivated team. The ideal candidate combines hands-on leadership with strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate the team, promoting professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
• Manage staff schedules and allocate duties according to business needs.
• Welcome guests, build customer relationships, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain food quality, accurate orders, and timely service.
• Monitor sales, operating costs, and restaurant performance against agreed targets.
• Control inventory, oversee purchasing, and reduce waste while maintaining sufficient stock.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety requirements.
• Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and group bookings to make effective use of restaurant capacity.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, billing, and opening and closing procedures.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee performance reviews.
• Work with management on promotions and initiatives to attract guests and encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain the restaurant’s presentation and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to service and profitability.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager at least 5 years in UAE.
• Must take Challenge of minimum sales target.
• 350 seating capacity Restaurant so, big restaurant working experience as a manager will get advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, stock control, and cost management.
• Ability to remain organised and make effective decisions during busy service periods.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and reporting tools.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong team leadership and staff training skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proven customer service and complaint resolution abilities.
• Vast Knowledge on UAE F&B market
• Must have knowledge about online sales platforms like Keeta, Deliveroo, Careem etc.
• Need to have quality knowledge on B2B Sales
