Edsa Shangri-La, Manila is the only five-star deluxe city-resort convention hotel in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila's second largest business district. Adjacent to two major shopping complexes in the country - Shangri-La Plaza Mall and SM Megamall. It is seven-kilometres from the Makati Central Business District and 13 kilometers from the international airport.

We are looking for a Plant Engineer.

As a Plant Engineer, we rely on you to:

• Ensures efficient operation and monitoring of all equipment in the physical plant.
• Ensures that the operation of machinery and equipment in the physical plant are carried out safely and conforms to the machinery operation procedures.
• Performs and updates preventive maintenance program on equipment as applicable otherwise coordinate with the activities of only approved maintenance contractors
• Provide assistance to hotel engineering issues
• Assist in developing, updating and streamlining engineering systems
• Ensure a smooth, efficient daily operation in the Engineering department
• Ensures that all necessary repair work is carried out in the shortest possible time
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Engineering

We are looking for someone who has:

• Haspassion for Engineering
• Understands engineering equipment in a hotel/resort
• Always prepared, self-starter, and enjoys taking on a new challenge
• Has relevant experience with an International 5-starHotel Group
• A licensed Mechanical Engineering
