À propos du poste
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
SíSí is a rooftop restaurant and bar in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City — bringing together bold Mexican-American flavours, creative cocktails, great music and an unforgettable atmosphere. We’re looking for a confident, hands-on and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join our management team. This is a key role within the venue. You’ll help lead the restaurant operation, support the team through busy services and, when acting as Duty Manager, take responsibility for the wider venue and the guest experience from open to close. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, genuinely cares about hospitality and enjoys being at the heart of the action.
In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are
Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.
What You’ll Do
As Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the management team to ensure every shift runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest possible standard. You’ll be a visible presence on the floor, leading by example and making sure our guests receive the warm, energetic and memorable experience SíSí is known for. You’ll also regularly take on Duty Manager responsibilities, acting as the senior point of contact for the venue and taking ownership of the operation when required. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and leading restaurant shifts
- Acting as Duty Manager and taking overall responsibility for the venue during assigned shifts
- Leading pre-service briefings and ensuring the team is fully prepared for service
- Supporting the management team in delivering excellent guest experiences
- Maintaining consistently high standards of service, presentation and hospitality
- Managing reservations, table plans and the flow of service
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues confidently and professionally
- Supporting the team during busy services and stepping in wherever needed
- Ensuring effective communication between the restaurant, kitchen and bar teams
- Supporting the training, development and motivation of team members
- Monitoring service standards and providing feedback to the team
- Completing opening and closing procedures and ensuring the venue is secure
- Managing cash and end-of-day procedures where required
- Ensuring all health & safety, licensing and operational procedures are followed
- Taking appropriate action in the event of any operational issue or emergency
- Supporting the wider management team with the smooth day-to-day running of the venue
What You’ll Have
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel or high-volume hospitality environment, ideally at Supervisor, Team Leader or Duty Manager level. You’ll be:
- A confident and capable shift leader
- Comfortable taking responsibility for a busy venue
- Passionate about delivering great hospitality
- A natural people person who enjoys working with guests and teams
- Calm, organised and able to make good decisions under pressure
- Confident handling guest feedback and resolving problems
- A strong communicator who can work effectively across restaurant, kitchen and bar teams
- Someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to get stuck in
- Commercially aware and mindful of service, sales and operational standards
- Reliable, professional and highly organised
- Comfortable taking the lead when senior management aren't on site
You don't need to have all the answers, but you do need to have the confidence and judgement to take ownership of a shift, make decisions and keep the team moving in the right direction.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Team Leader looking to take the next step, or for an established Duty Manager who wants to join a venue with a strong identity, ambitious plans and a genuinely exciting atmosphere. You'll be joining a supportive management team where you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, take on real responsibility and play an important role in the continued success of SíSí.
