Katara Hospitality currently owns properties spread across three continents in Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Singapore and Thailand. While it partners with some of the finest hotel management companies, Katara Hospitality operates owned and non-owned hotels through its standalone operating arm, Murwab Hotel Group.

Katara Hospitality Switzerland Ltd. in Zug is responsible for the hotels in Switzerland owned by Katara Hospitality Ltd., Doha. We develop hotel concepts and plan to renovate, reconstruct and re-open these legendary properties. At the moment we are managing and coordinating the Hotel Schweizerhof in Berne, the Bürgenstock Resort near Lucerne and the Hotel Royal Savoy in Lausanne. Whilst the Hotel Schweizerhof was already successfully reopened in June 2011 and the Hotel Royal Savoy in November 2015, the planning works for the Bürgenstock Resort is in full swing an will reopen in Summer 2017.
