Responsible for timely and accurate payroll while consistently maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Payroll & Other Accounting Duties

• Complete weekly payroll before deadline (including wages, tips, extra pay, paid time off and so on)
• Verify weekly Food & Beverage tips and Front Office porterage are correct based on Micros and Opera reports
• Assist in weekly paycheck distributions to department heads
• Work closely with Human Resources in employee benefits reconciliations.
• Work closely with department heads with payroll questions and concerns.
• Be able to work with flexible hours to meet payroll deadlines.
• Be able to take on ad hoc projects from Finance leaders. 
• Be a team player and maintain good working relationship with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Hotel Accounting or Payroll experiences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are preferred. 
• Professional and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Problem solving and analytical skills are required. 
• Be able to work independently and take ownership of problem-solving process.
• Be flexible with working hours in order to meet accounting deadlines.
• Be able to carry or lift items weighing up to 25 pounds

The salary range for this role is $38.00 - $39.00/hr. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City, NY. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications,  experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
