We are seeking an experienced and visionary AVP to lead our global content strategy, with a strong emphasis on understanding the audience behavior and preferences in Mainland China to supports the company's growth. As the AVP, Group Marketing (Content Lead), you will possess a deep understanding of the company's objectives, target audience to lead and develop content strategy that effectively supports Group Marketing and aligns with the broader business goals.

As the lead of the Content Studio, you will be responsible for maintaining the world-class editorial standards, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all published content, and driving the overall editorial strategy on a global scale while providing guidance in localizing them to meet the unique needs in different regions. The ideal candidate should have exceptional writing and editing skills, a deep understanding of various content formats, and a proven track record of creating engaging and culturally relevant content.

Based at our Global Headquarters, this role will report to Vice President, Group Marketing.

As our Assistant Vice President, Group Marketing (Content Lead), we will rely on you to:

  • Lead and develop a comprehensive content strategy, that supports the company's growth plans, considering different stages of the customer journey and various channels of communication
  • Build the Content team and oversee the entire content creation process, from ideation to publication
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure the content strategy is integrated into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Work closely with business units and stakeholders to define key messaging and value propositions that should be incorporated into the content strategy
  • Map out content plans and editorial calendars that align with the business unit objectives and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse content performance, continuously evaluate and refine the content strategy based on feedback, data-driven insights, and evolving business needs


We are looking for someone who has;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications / Marketing / Public Relations or other relevant disciplines preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in Editorial, Copy writing or Content Marketing
  • Proven track record of success and previous experience working in large scale/ complex organization with multiple locations and stakeholders  
  • Good knowledge of international content preference (Mainland China and Rest of the world) across dynamic communication touch points
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior
  • Excellent communication and verbal presentation skills, proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese
  • Solid interpersonal skills reflecting leadership ability; the personality to inspire confidence and build teams and the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Luxury, lifestyle brand experience preferred
