We are seeking an exceptional Hotel Manager with 5-star luxury hotel experience to support the General Manager in leading Casa Tuya from pre-opening through launch and ongoing operations.
This role requires a balance of operational excellence, emotional intelligence, and hands-on leadership. The Hotel Manager will work closely with the General Manager and Founder, playing a key role in executing the culture, service philosophy, and daily guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Lead by example, embodying Casa Tuya’s values and service philosophy
- Support the development, training, and mentorship of a high-performing, service-driven team
- Foster a calm, grounded, and emotionally intelligent team environment
- Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment and accountability
Operations & Pre-Opening
- Support all pre-opening activities including SOP implementation, hiring, and training
- Oversee daily operations across villas, restaurant, wellness, and guest experience
- Ensure seamless coordination between departments at all times
- Maintain exceptional standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
- Act as the primary operational leader in the absence of the General Manager
Guest Experience
- Ensure consistent delivery of a deeply personalized and intuitive guest journey
- Maintain a strong presence with guests throughout the day
- Support and guide Guest Experience Organisers (GEOs) in delivering personalized service
- Handle service recovery with professionalism, care, and attention to detail
Food & Beverage & Wellness Oversight
- Oversee service flow and guest experience within restaurant and in-villa dining
- Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail across all F&B outlets
- Support the integration of wellness experiences into the overall guest journey
- Ensure smooth daily operations within the wellness and spa environment
Financial & Operational Awareness
- Support budget control, labor efficiency, and cost management across departments
- Work closely with the General Manager to balance operational excellence with financial performance
- Maintain awareness of departmental performance and identify areas for improvement
Brand & Representation
- Uphold international 5-star luxury standards in all areas of operation
- Represent Casa Tuya’s values and ethos with guests, partners, and the local community
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 8–12 years in luxury hospitality
- 2–3+ years in a senior operational role (Hotel Manager, EAM, or Department Head ready to step up)
- Strong background in:
- Rooms Division
- Food & Beverage
- Experience in 5-star luxury hotels, boutique resorts, or wellness-focused properties
- Pre-opening experience strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: 40 to 50 million IDR
- Performance-Based Bonus: Based on operational, financial, and guest satisfaction KPIs

General Requirements – Hotel Manager
This role requires a complete operator—someone equally comfortable on the floor with guests as they are managing the complexity of daily hotel operations.
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years in luxury hospitality
- At least 2–3 years in a senior operational leadership role
- (Hotel Manager, EAM, or Department Head ready to step up)
- Proven background in:
- Rooms Division
- Food & Beverage operations
- Experience within 5-star luxury hotels, boutique resorts, or wellness-focused properties
- Pre-opening experience strongly preferred
Operational Capability
Strong understanding of full hotel operations, including:
- Guest journey management
- Departmental coordination
- Service standards and SOP execution
- Ability to run day-to-day operations independently
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Confident in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house dynamics
Leadership & Culture
Proven ability to lead, train, and develop teams
- Leads by example with a strong floor presence
- Builds a culture of accountability, care, and excellence
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and ownership
Guest Experience Focus
Deep understanding of luxury service and personalization
- Naturally guest-facing, with strong interpersonal presence
