Job Description

**Food & Beverage Manager - Responsibilities** We are seeking an experienced and professional Food & Beverage Manager to join our esteemed resort at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence across our dining establishments. The successful candidate will demonstrate decisive leadership, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality in a luxury resort environment.

  • Supervise, train, and motivate F&B staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement - Plan and develop menus in collaboration with culinary teams, considering seasonal availability and guest preferences
  •  Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards
  •  Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and liaise with suppliers to maintain quality and cost efficiency
  •  Maintain exceptional customer service standards and address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Analyse sales performance, guest feedback, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement
  •  Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
  •  Manage special events, functions, and banqueting arrangements with meticulous attention to detail
  •  Maintain compliance with all local and international hospitality regulations and standards
  •  Develop and implement revenue management strategies, including pricing optimisation and promotional initiatives for F&B outlets
  • Oversee staff scheduling and labour cost management to ensure operational efficiency whilst maintaining service quality
  •  Conduct regular quality assurance audits and implement corrective actions to uphold operational standards - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track F&B profitability and operational performance
  •  Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service
  •  Champion sustainability initiatives and environmental best practices within food and beverage operations


Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• Proven experience in food and beverage management within a hospitality or resort setting

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

• Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including kitchen management and service standards

  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control
  •  Sound understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene compliance requirements
  •  Proficiency in inventory management, supplier relations, and POS systems
  •  Excellent customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  •  Ability to work decisively under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
  •  Knowledge of international hospitality standards and best practices
  • Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end resort environments
  •  Knowledge of international cuisines, culinary trends, and beverage service expertise
  •  Multilingual capabilities
