About the role
Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for a talented Sommelier to join th F&B Team for 2024 summer season.

What you will do

The Sommelier is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This position provides an enjoyable and expertly served beverage experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. The Sommelier creates and updates wine lists, makes recommendations on food and wine pairings, and advises guests on wines based on their tastes and preferences.

What you bring

Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.

A minimum of one year experience as Sommelier ideally in a luxury environment and/or in a Michelin starred restaurant.

A high level of wine knowledge, including an extensive understanding of wine making process, main wineries and wine regions.

Proficiency in using the Micros Operating System.

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language.

This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Florence and the contract is full time and seasonal.  You must possess the legal right to work in Italy at the time of application and have fluency in English and Italian.
