Bar Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee all aspects of our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent people management skills, and a deep knowledge of beverages and bar operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily bar operations and ensure high standards of service and product quality
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage bar staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus and seasonal specialties that align with current trends and customer preferences
  • Manage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and control costs while maintaining product quality
  • Monitor bar revenue and expenses, analyze sales reports, and implement strategies to increase profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing laws and regulations
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant management team to ensure seamless service
  • Organize and promote special events to attract customers and increase revenue
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in bar management or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current industry trends
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
  • Proficiency in bar POS systems and inventory management software
  • Valid food safety and alcohol service certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
