We are seeking an exceptional Sales Director with 5-star luxury hospitality experience to lead the commercial strategy of Casa Tuya from pre-opening through launch and ongoing operations.


This role requires a balance of strategic vision, relationship-driven sales, and refined brand sensitivity. The Sales Director will work closely with the Founder, Chief Marketing Officer, General Manager, and Revenue Manager, playing a key role in positioning Casa Tuya within the global luxury travel space, driving high-value demand, and cultivating meaningful partnerships that align with the brand’s philosophy and guest experience.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy across all segments (leisure, wellness retreats, buyouts, travel advisors)
  • Drive direct and indirect revenue through strategic partnerships and distribution channels
  • Identify and penetrate key feeder markets (USA, UK, Europe, Australia, Asia)
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to align pricing, segmentation, and demand strategies


Luxury Travel Trade & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with top-tier travel advisors, agencies, and consortia (e.g., Virtuoso, Embark, Serandipians)
  • Represent Casa Tuya in international sales trips, trade shows, and client events
  • Establish preferred partnerships with high-end tour operators and wellness retreat organizers
  • Curate exclusive experiences and packages tailored to key partners


Pre-Opening & Brand Positioning

  • Support pre-opening sales strategy, including early bookings and founding guest offers
  • Work closely with PR and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand positioning
  • Contribute to storytelling and messaging that reflects Casa Tuya’s identity
  • Assist in building a strong pipeline ahead of opening


Client Relationship Management

  • Personally manage key accounts and high-value clients
  • Drive repeat business through meaningful, long-term relationships
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sales to on-property guest experience teams


Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Guest Experience team to align sales with service delivery
  • Support the development of internal sales capabilities and culture
  • Coordinate with external sales agencies where applicable


  • $100,000 - $125,000 + 30%-40% performance based bonus
  • Accommodation Support: Housing or housing allowance provided (if applicable)

General Requirements – Sales Director

This role requires a commercially driven leader—someone equally comfortable building global relationships and closing high-value business as they are shaping strategy and positioning within the luxury travel market.


Experience

Minimum 8–12 years in luxury hospitality sales

At least 3–5 years in a senior sales leadership role

(Sales Director, Associate Director of Sales, or Senior Sales Manager ready to step up)

Proven background in:

Luxury leisure sales

Travel trade and consortia relationships

High-end resort or boutique hotel environments

Experience within 5-star luxury hotels, boutique resorts, or wellness-focused properties

Pre-opening experience strongly preferred


Commercial & Strategic Capability

Strong understanding of global hotel sales, including:

Market segmentation and positioning

Distribution channels (direct, trade, consortia, agencies)

Revenue collaboration and pricing alignment

Ability to develop and execute a full sales strategy independently

Highly strategic, analytical, and results-driven

Confident in identifying and converting high-value opportunities


Luxury Travel Trade & Partnerships

Established network within the global luxury travel space

Experience working with:

Travel advisors and agencies

Consortia such as Virtuoso, Serandipians, Embark

Strong ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships

Comfortable representing the brand in international markets and trade events


Leadership & Collaboration

Proven ability to lead and inspire sales efforts

Collaborative approach with Revenue, PR, and Operations teams

Ability to align sales strategy with overall brand and guest experience

Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and ownership


Brand & Guest Alignment

Strong sensitivity to brand positioning and storytelling

Understands the expectations of the ultra-luxury guest

Ability to sell not just rooms, but experiences and transformational journeys

Ensures alignment between sales promise and on-property delivery


Financial & Performance Focus

Strong understanding of:

Revenue generation and forecasting

Sales performance metrics and KPIs

Account production and ROI

Ability to drive revenue while maintaining brand integrity

Results-oriented with a strong closing mindset
