The American four-year BSc Hospitality and Tourism Management program offered at RIT Croatia, in Dubrovnik, prepares students for professional and managerial positions in the field of business and tourism.

What you will learn

The curriculum and program standards are fully aligned with RIT’s U.S.- based Hospitality and Tourism Management program, allowing students to obtain both U.S. and Croatian degrees. Classes are held in English. This is a multidisciplinary program that provides an ideal balance of both hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in business, tourism, and hospitality, as well as hard and soft skills. Adding additional flexibility to their studies, students can choose to combine their course requirements to obtain a minor in Anthropology & Sociology. The program is delivered on campus, however, a fully online option will be offered to students who are not able to study in Dubrovnik due to travel restrictions and other hardships caused by COVID-19 pandemic. The program promotes an understanding of all key elements of the tourism industry in an innovative way and is delivered in an international environment, Dubrovnik, which is a globally renowned tourism destination. Who is the course for?

The Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management prepares students for a wide variety of career choices in food management, hotel/resort management, health career management, corporate travel management, food marketing sales and distribution, and human resources. This program promotes an understanding of the interrelationships among the food, lodging, travel, and health care industries based on the underlying concept of quality service management. An approach that is driven by exposure to all of the above-mentioned fields will allow students to retain the flexibility to switch majors or jobs if their career goals change. The program’s curriculum is rigorous and challenging and provides opportunities for students to develop their full potential in a managerial environment.
