Chief Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is responsible in formulating, planning, and implementing the blue print of the general direction of the operation of the department and in coordination with the Villa Management. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that machinery and equipment in the Villas are operating in a continuous, safe, efficient, and reliable manner.
• Ensures that facilities and infrastructure of the Villas are in prime and presentable condition.
• Ensures proper complement of manpower to keep the Villa Engineering Team lean and mean.
• Submits recommendations for the improvement of the facilities. 
• Submits regular, periodic, and other reports that maybe required. 
• Be a willing team player at all times. Accepts and performs special assignments within or outside his department as requested by his immediate head. 
• Keeps abreast of all company policies and code of conduct by reading and understanding all guidelines issued pertaining to such matters; and performing such duties and functions as specified in the guidelines. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably a Registered Civil Engineer
• Preferably a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a reputable university
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the same capacity, preferably in a resort set up
• Professional and diplomatic
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
• Has strong analytical and organization and people skills
