The Concierge will assist guests with a wide scope of services and will also act as a liaison between the guest and other departments within the hotel.

 

This position has an hourly compensation rate of $37.81 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs all Concierge Assigned functions, preparing, and executing an ideal Aman New York Journey to guests
  • Liaison between departments
  • Maintain the Concierge Desk and storage areas in an orderly manner and properly stocked
  • Assist guests with the following guest requests:


*Restaurant Reservations 

*Theatre ticket assistance

*Limousine reservations

*Offer directions

*Assist with any guest request (at the desk, phone, text or e-mail)

*Ensure proper handling of guest confirmations, packages, flowers and mail

*Responsible for maintaining the highest quality database relating to Guest Profile

  • Ambassador of Aman New York in providing genuine care to guests and team members. Well-rounded hospitality professionals following the Aman New York pillars and values. Demonstrates teamwork, and culture building. Continuously support Aman New York with set goals
  • Provide quality and genuine service by responding to guests and team members promptly, efficiently, and courteously. Follow up and follow through
  • Responding to guest and leadership feedback, in areas relating to Guest Satisfaction. Focusing on improvement regarding feedback
  • Responsible for achieving and maintaining high guest retention ratio
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of activities, directions, travel time, cost, and various forms of transportation around New York City
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and organized surrounding, ensuring a safe and positive environment
  • Handle financial duties responsibly, outlined in the Aman New York’s Finance Controller’s manual
  • Stay current with developments and procedures in Aman New York by attending each departmental meetings and work email
  • Maintain proper attendance records
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Management Team and Chef Concierge
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Aman Experience Leadership and Rooms Division Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years working as a hotel concierge at a related luxury hotel experience
  • Be a member of the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges
  • Be a member of Les Clefs dÓr USA (preferred)
