POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the General Manager or his delegate and within the limits of established Aman Resorts & Hotels Group brand and local policies and procedures.
The Human Resources Director's responsibilities include recruitment, wage and salary survey/administration, classification of jobs and employees, training and developing potential employees, being a business partner in the business to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources Department and that all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build teamwork and enhance the team's commitments to their work and the organization
- Delegate appropriate responsibility to others based on their ability whilst ensuring they have sufficient authority and resources
- Achieve a record of success in recruiting, interviewing and hiring people
- Communicate the vision and brand to the team and ensure it is integrated in the departments business practices
- Set and communicate high performance standards
- Recognize outstanding individual performance in the department and deal with substandard performance fairly and immediately
- Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Being a member of Executive Committee, you are responsible in taking part in the decision making process of the Executive Committee and for ensuring afterwards that all decisions are fully implemented in the overall operation of the Property
- Induction and Orientation procedures
- Performance Appraisal system
- Transfer and promotion procedures
- Develops a company succession plan
- Designs HR forms, documents and procedures
- Develops employee policies in line with Aman guidelines
- Provide advice to the General Manager which will assist in the meeting of strategic objectives
- Manage the legal issues of the department
- Respond to requests for information from internal and external sources, including Corporate Office
- Ensures comprehensive and regular staff communication sessions
- Prepares the Human Resource Division budget
- Controls and analyses, on an on-going basis, HR Division costs to ensure performance against budget
- Prepare twice a year an annual salaries and benefits survey within the industry in order to recommend and assist the management in implementing adequate strategies
